Step 5

Glue & Assemble Layers

GLUE: I’ve gone through soooo many adhesives in all my crafting years – good, bad, and the ugly. For an intricate pieces like this, you want a high-strength adhesive that will dry crystal clear and not take too much fuss in applying it. So far, the best adhesive I’ve used is Devcon Home Weldit High Strength All Purpose Adhesive. It gives you 5min of working time, then sets up within a couple hours, curing fully overnight. Oh and did I mention it’s Crystal clear?!! Yes, it’s my go-to adhesive for wood to wood fine-detail projects.

Assemble the Design:

Apply glue to the underside of the bunnies, glue into place over the score alignment marks on the card base. Then add glue to the bow and place on top of the bunny in the middle of the neck.

Apply a large heavy book atop the finished card. Allow to dry this way overnight.

Step 6

Attach A6 Card to Back

This is optional, if you’d like to have a larger area and like your typical cardstock greeting card for writing a message, glue or use double sided tape to attach a size A6 greeting card to the back of the wood card. Combine with a bright colored A6 or A7 greeting card envelope.
